Who we are

Thanks for investing the time to consider joining Tuza.

When joining a company at the early stages of its growth story, there's often more than first meets the eye. This is our opportunity to help you understand why your next role should be with us.

At Tuza, we’ve raised $7 million from leading investors (Northzone, Connect Ventures, and TriplePoint) to build agentic process automation for banks.

Tuza today...

At Tuza, we’re building technology that fundamentally changes how banks operate. Our platform, TuzaOS, enables banks to deploy agentic workflows that execute complex, regulated processes in a policy-controlled, auditable way.

Since launch, we’ve helped leading UK banks (Worldpay, Barclaycard, and NatWest) to scale faster by serving thousands of customers more efficiently and connecting them with leading distribution partners such as MoneySuperMarket, USwitch, and Money.co.uk.

Tuza tomorrow..

  • The Intelligent Operating System for Banks

Our vision is to be the intelligent operating system for banks; a system that doesn’t just automate tasks, but makes and executes decisions across the organisation.
  • A Unified Data Infrastructure

We will build an open-standard data platform to access Tuza’s knowledge graph, combining behavioural data with live operational data to tell the most accurate story of a business’s life cycle.
  • Built-In Governance and Explainable Intelligence

Tuza’s agentic infrastructure will redefine trust in banking - every automated process will be transparent, auditable, compliant and explainable, allowing banks to move faster in a policy-controlled way.

Our team

At Tuza, we're obsessed with building an opinionated product and driving our product-led growth. We're moving fast, operating in ambiguity, and constantly choosing between a hundred good ideas to find the one that unlocks our next spike in growth. Our product teams job is to make sure we’re always building the most impactful thing - and building it the right way.

Not by guessing. But by being relentlessly curious about our users, understanding how they think, what they need, and how our product can solve real pain.

We operate in structured chaos with a 6-week roadmap that consists of 3 x 2-week sprints. Projects are typically shaped in one sprint and built in the next. That means tight loops, fast learning, and constant refinement.

They own things like:

  • The user - being the source of truth for customer insights by constantly speaking to users, listening hard, and turning insight into ideas.
  • The planning, sequencing, and execution of our roadmap - ensuring we’re working on the most impactful things and tracking towards our overarching business strategy.
  • The shaping of projects -  taking raw ideas and turning them into clear, well-formed solutions with the right level of abstraction.
  • The review and iteration of projects - monitoring what we shipped, how it performed, whether it achieved the expected outcome and what we need to do next to improve it.

You're a great fit if...

  • You’ve worked previously in a high-performance environment - this may be another startup backed by tier 1 investors, but it could just as easily be a competitive hobby.
  • You’re able to sift through hundred of ideas to find the most impactful one.
  • You’re genuinely obsessed with users and the craft of building a great products.
  • You turn messy insight into shaped work that gives teams conviction in what they’re building and why.
  • You’re ruthlessly disciplined at planning and executing the roadmap.
  • You take ownership end-to-end - from insight to idea, to product, to outcome, to iteration.
  • You’re understand the important of prioritisation and aren’t afraid to say ‘no’.
  • You’re plugged into what the best tech companies are building.
  • You hold a high bar for execution.

You're a bad fit if...

  • You lack genuine curiosity about the user — we need someone obsessed, not just interested.
  • You’re disorganised or lose track of what’s being built, why, or by whom.
  • You see product as execution, not strategy and don’t care how it connects to the wider business goals.
  • You avoid hard conversations, whether with users or teammates.
  • You’re more comfortable following instructions than shaping direction.

Our ways of working

At Tuza, we've founded our working principles with influences from BaseCamp’s product development framework, Shape Up, Matt Lerner's Growth Levers and How to Find Them and Melissa Perri's Escaping The Build Trap.

The crux is that we like to focus on the ‘why’. Why are we building this product, or feature, and what outcome are we hoping for? We value focusing on our customers, output over input, and experiment more than we optimise.

We outline how we work in more detail here. This isn't static: we're constantly aiming to improve based on team feedback.
